Travel from St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International by Eurostar to Brussels and then connect on to the German ICE train to Cologne. The journey time from London is 4 hours approximately. On arrival in Cologne check in at the Marriott Cologne Hotel for your overnight stay.
After breakfast take the scenic train along the Rhine Valley from Cologne to Passau. Sit back and relax as the train travels through the stunning countryside of the Rhine Valley, with views over the famous River Rhine, sweeping vineyards and medieval castles. Look out for the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress near Koblenz, and the Marksburg, Stahleck, Katz and Maus Castles. The highlight is the view over the picturesque Pfalz Castle on an island in the middle of the river.
On arrival in Passau you are met and transferred to the ship. After you have boarded the ship, the afternoon is yours to explore Passau.

After you have enjoyed breakfast on the ship you can take an optional full-day excursion to two small Bohemian Czech cities: Budweis and Cesky Krumlov. Alternatively you can go on a morning walking tour of Passau’s Old Town area.
Budweis was for a time the royal brewery for the Holy Roman Emperor, and beer remains a major industry there. Founded at about the same time as Budweis, Ceský Krumlov is known for its castle, and is an important cultural center, hosting various festivals throughout the year.
On the morning walking tour you get to visit the Old Town area and pass by the Veste Oberhaus. This is a 13th-century fortress that served as a bishop’s stronghold for several centuries. Enjoy a concert on Europe’s largest pipe organ in St. Stephan’s Cathedral before returning to the ship for dinner.
Today travel on an excursion to the legendary Austrian city of Salzburg. Enjoy the views as you journey through the scenic Austrian countryside to Salzburg’s Old Town area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take a walking tour featuring the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Hohensalzburg Fortress just above the city center.
You have free time in the afternoon to explore the cobbled streets and colourful buildings of Salzburg before returning to the ship for dinner and a late evening departure.
This morning you visit Melk and in particular the 900-year-old abbey which is a Benedictine monastery, originally one of Leopold II’s castles. See its spectacular wall and ceiling frescoes, note the library’s comprehensive collection of medieval manuscripts, and admire the graceful spiral staircase.
After lunch aboard, you stop at the picturesque Wachau Valley town of Dürnstein, where you can explore on your own, sample some local vintages from this famous wine-producing region, or join an optional walking tour of the town’s highlights.

The Ship
This spacious deluxe ship can accommodate 150 guests. The ships can sail on a variety of rivers and they are ideal for longer itineraries such as this. The ship has a sun deck with a swimming pool and 360 degree views so that you can enjoy the scenery as you sail along the Danube River. Visit the Hungarian Parliament, one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings containing Hungary’s crown jewels or climb Gellért Hill for fabulous views of the majestic Buda Castle and Széchenyi Chain Bridge.
The Ship
This spacious deluxe ship can accommodate 150 guests. The ships can sail on a variety of rivers and they are ideal for longer itineraries such as this. The ship has a sun deck with a swimming pool and 360 degree views so that you can enjoy the scenery as you sail along the Danube River. The ship also has a restaurant, bar, library, sauna & whirlpool.
Food & Drink
The chefs freshly prepare the food for you. For breakfast choose from a selection of pastries, cereals, breakfast meats, fresh fruit and selected cheeses. Alternatively you can have a hot dish prepared to order. For lunch, you can select from the soup and sandwich bar, or a choice of entrées and dessert. Travel from St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International by Eurostar to Brussels and then connect on to the German ICE train to Cologne. The journey time from London is 4 hours approximately. On arrival in Cologne check in at the Marriott Cologne Hotel for your overnight stay.
After breakfast take the scenic train along the Rhine Valley from Cologne to Passau. Sit back and relax as the train travels through the stunning countryside of the Rhine Valley, with views over the famous River Rhine, sweeping vineyards and medieval castles. Look out for the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress near Koblenz, and the Marksburg, Stahleck, Katz and Maus Castles. The highlight is the view over the picturesque Pfalz Castle on an island in the middle of the river.
On arrival in Passau you are met and transferred to the ship. After you have boarded the ship, the afternoon is yours to explore Passau.
There is an optional guided walk to help you discover this medieval town.
After you have enjoyed breakfast on the ship you can take an optional full-day excursion to two small Bohemian Czech cities: Budweis and Cesky Krumlov. Alternatively you can go on a morning walking tour of Passau’s Old Town area.
Budweis was for a time the royal brewery for the Holy Roman Emperor, and beer remains a major industry there. Founded at about the same time as Budweis, Ceský Krumlov is known for its castle, and is an important cultural center, hosting various festivals throughout the year.
On the morning walking tour you get to visit the Old Town area and pass by the Veste Oberhaus. This is a 13th-century fortress that served as a bishop’s stronghold for several centuries. Enjoy a concert on Europe’s largest pipe organ in St. Stephan’s Cathedral before returning to the ship for dinner.
Today travel on an excursion to the legendary Austrian city of Salzburg. Enjoy the views as you journey through the scenic Austrian countryside to Salzburg’s Old Town area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take a walking tour featuring the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Hohensalzburg Fortress just above the city center.
You have free time in the afternoon to explore the cobbled streets and colourful buildings of Salzburg before returning to the ship for dinner and a late evening departure.
This morning you visit Melk and in particular the 900-year-old abbey which is a Benedictine monastery, originally one of Leopold II’s castles. See its spectacular wall and ceiling frescoes, note the library’s comprehensive collection of medieval manuscripts, and admire the graceful spiral staircase.
After lunch aboard, you stop at the picturesque Wachau Valley town of Dürnstein, where you can explore on your own, sample some local vintages from this famous wine-producing region, or join an optional walking tour of the town’s highlights.
Enjoy dinner on the ship as you depart towards Vienna.
Today you are given a tour of the Austrian capital, Vienna. See some of the city’s baroque architecture, including St. Stephan’s Cathedral and Hofburg Palace before you return to the ship for lunch.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to discover arguably Europe's most classical city.
Try and fit in a visit to The Wiener Staatoper (Vienna State Opera). This State Opera is famed all around the world thanks to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and their opera performances. The festive building itself was built 1869 in an Italian Renaissance style. After dinner on the ship, relax or enjoy an optional classical concert.
You arrive in Bratislava in the morning and are given a walking tour of this charming city.
On the tour you get to see attractions such as the medieval Town Hall complex and fortifications at Michael’s Tower, baroque Trinity Church and Gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral. You pass by several Habsburg-era baroque palaces before returning to the ship for lunch and departure.
Relax and enjoy the views as you sail along the Danube before you arrive in Budapest late in the evening.
After you have had breakfast onboard the ship you visit the highlights of both the older 'Buda' and more cosmopolitan 'Pest' sides of the city.
The tour starts with Pest’s National Opera House and historic Heroes’ Square. In Buda, walk along Fishermen’s Hill to Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church.
Enjoy lunch aboard and the rest of the day is yours to explore both sides of the city. After a busy day sightseeing, return to the ship for a traditional Hungarian farewell dinner.
After breakfast, disembark and be transferred to the airport where you fly with British Airways in Euro Traveller Class from Budapest to London.

There is a lot to see and do in this famous Rhineland city. Cologne Cathedral dominates the skyline and is a good place to start your exploration as it's right outside the station! Travel from St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International by Eurostar to Brussels and then connect on to the German ICE train to Cologne. The journey time from London is 4 hours approximately. On arrival in Cologne check in at the Marriott Cologne Hotel for your overnight stay.
After breakfast take the scenic train along the Rhine Valley from Cologne to Passau. Sit back and relax as the train travels through the stunning countryside of the Rhine Valley, with views over the famous River Rhine, sweeping vineyards and medieval castles. Look out for the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress near Koblenz, and the Marksburg, Stahleck, Katz and Maus Castles. The highlight is the view over the picturesque Pfalz Castle on an island in the middle of the river.
On arrival in Passau you are met and transferred to the ship. After you have boarded the ship, the afternoon is yours to explore Passau.
There is an optional guided walk to help you discover this medieval town.
After you have enjoyed breakfast on the ship you can take an optional full-day excursion to two small Bohemian Czech cities: Budweis and Cesky Krumlov. Alternatively you can go on a morning walking tour of Passau’s Old Town area.
Budweis was for a time the royal brewery for the Holy Roman Emperor, and beer remains a major industry there. Founded at about the same time as Budweis, Ceský Krumlov is known for its castle, and is an important cultural center, hosting various festivals throughout the year.
On the morning walking tour you get to visit the Old Town area and pass by the Veste Oberhaus. This is a 13th-century fortress that served as a bishop’s stronghold for several centuries. Enjoy a concert on Europe’s largest pipe organ in St. Stephan’s Cathedral before returning to the ship for dinner.
Today travel on an excursion to the legendary Austrian city of Salzburg. Enjoy the views as you journey through the scenic Austrian countryside to Salzburg’s Old Town area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take a walking tour featuring the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Hohensalzburg Fortress just above the city center.
You have free time in the afternoon to explore the cobbled streets and colourful buildings of Salzburg before returning to the ship for dinner and a late evening departure.
This morning you visit Melk and in particular the 900-year-old abbey which is a Benedictine monastery, originally one of Leopold II’s castles. See its spectacular wall and ceiling frescoes, note the library’s comprehensive collection of medieval manuscripts, and admire the graceful spiral staircase.
After lunch aboard, you stop at the picturesque Wachau Valley town of Dürnstein, where you can explore on your own, sample some local vintages from this famous wine-producing region, or join an optional walking tour of the town’s highlights.
Enjoy dinner on the ship as you depart towards Vienna.
Today you are given a tour of the Austrian capital, Vienna. See some of the city’s baroque architecture, including St. Stephan’s Cathedral and Hofburg Palace before you return to the ship for lunch.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to discover arguably Europe's most classical city.
Try and fit in a visit to The Wiener Staatoper (Vienna State Opera). This State Opera is famed all around the world thanks to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and their opera performances. The festive building itself was built 1869 in an Italian Renaissance style. After dinner on the ship, relax or enjoy an optional classical concert.
You arrive in Bratislava in the morning and are given a walking tour of this charming city.
On the tour you get to see attractions such as the medieval Town Hall complex and fortifications at Michael’s Tower, baroque Trinity Church and Gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral. You pass by several Habsburg-era baroque palaces before returning to the ship for lunch and departure.
Relax and enjoy the views as you sail along the Danube before you arrive in Budapest late in the evening.
After you have had breakfast onboard the ship you visit the highlights of both the older 'Buda' and more cosmopolitan 'Pest' sides of the city.
The tour starts with Pest’s National Opera House and historic Heroes’ Square. In Buda, walk along Fishermen’s Hill to Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church.
Enjoy lunch aboard and the rest of the day is yours to explore both sides of the city. After a busy day sightseeing, return to the ship for a traditional Hungarian farewell dinner.
After breakfast, disembark and be transferred to the airport where you fly with British Airways in Euro Traveller Class from Budapest to London.

There is a lot to see and do in this famous Rhineland city. Cologne Cathedral dominates the skyline and is a good place to start your exploration as it's right outside the station! Admire the imposing Gothic architecture of this huge monument and climb up the South tower for spectacular views. Visit the Old Town for some retail therapy and a glass of local beer, Kolsch. And don't miss a trip to the Chocolate Museum along the Rhine.
Passau is located in a beautiful setting at the junction of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz Rivers. Enjoy a walk around the old town and explore the narrow pedestrian streets. Passau was an important medieval trade and shipping centre which now has a lively and cosmopolitan feel about it.
Salzburg is a beautiful city close to the Austrian Alps, famous for its huge medieval castle, its UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town and its associations with Mozart, who was born here. Stroll along the banks of the Salzach River, get great views from the walls of the Festung Hohensalzburg, visit Mozart’s birthplace(now a museum dedicated to his life and work) or, if it’s your thing, enjoy a full tour of all the sights featured in the famous musical,The Sound of Music.
The elegant city of Vienna is a haven for art lovers, with fabulous galleries ranging from the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the unique collection of Klimt works at the Belvedere Palace to temporary exhibitions at the Kunsthaus, designed by architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Music buffs will also be in their element with a huge choice of classical concerts featuring local heroes such as Johann Strauss, Mozart and Schubert. Don’t miss a slice of Sacher torte accompanied by a traditional Viennese coffee at the Sacher Hotel.
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and is also the country's largest city. The castle dominates over the city of Bratislava on a hill overlooking the river Danube. During your stay in Bratislava it is also worth visiting the Primatial Palace, St. Martin's Dome and Michael's Gate.
Hungary’s historic capital, Budapest has a huge amount to offer, from grand architecture to world-class museums. There are also over a dozen thermal spas to choose from, of which the Széchenyi Baths are the oldest, largest and grandest. Visit the Hungarian Parliament, one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings containing Hungary’s crown jewels or climb Gellért Hill for fabulous views of the majestic Buda Castle and Széchenyi Chain Bridge.
The Ship
This spacious deluxe ship can accommodate 150 guests. The ships can sail on a variety of rivers and they are ideal for longer itineraries such as this. The ship has a sun deck with a swimming pool and 360 degree views so that you can enjoy the scenery as you sail along the Danube River. The ship also has a restaurant, bar, library, sauna & whirlpool.
Food & Drink
The chefs freshly prepare the food for you. For breakfast choose from a selection of pastries, cereals, breakfast meats, fresh fruit and selected cheeses. Alternatively you can have a hot dish prepared to order. For lunch, you can select from the soup and sandwich bar, or a choice of entrées and dessert. For dinner enjoy a 5-course gourmet menu with regional specialities. There is also a choice of regional wines to complement your meal.
Category E Staterooms
Category E Staterooms are 120 sq ft in size and are all located on the main deck of the ship. They have one standard-size single bed and one sofa bed. These staterooms have a half high window that cannot be opened. They have a private bathroom with shower and they also have a telephone, in-room safe & hair dryer. Each stateroom has air-conditioning, space under beds for storing suitcases, a wardrobe and TV with CNN, BBC and other English channels.

Category D Staterooms are 154 sq ft in size and are all located on the main deck of the ship. They have hotel style beds and a large panoramic window that cannot be opened. The Marriott Cologne Hotel is a new and modern hotel. The hotel has 365 comfortable, stylish and contemporary bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The Brasserie Fou offers French and international cuisine in a convivial setting whilst the Pleusch bar and lounge is a great place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel is in the centre of Cologne, close to Cologne's train station, the Cathedral and the main shopping area.

Travel from St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International by Eurostar to Brussels and then connect on to the German ICE train to Cologne. The journey time from London is 4 hours approximately. On arrival in Cologne check in at the Marriott Cologne Hotel for your overnight stay.
After breakfast take the scenic train along the Rhine Valley from Cologne to Passau. Sit back and relax as the train travels through the stunning countryside of the Rhine Valley, with views over the famous River Rhine, sweeping vineyards and medieval castles. Look out for the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress near Koblenz, and the Marksburg, Stahleck, Katz and Maus Castles. The highlight is the view over the picturesque Pfalz Castle on an island in the middle of the river.
On arrival in Passau you are met and transferred to the ship. After you have boarded the ship, the afternoon is yours to explore Passau.
There is an optional guided walk to help you discover this medieval town.
After you have enjoyed breakfast on the ship you can take an optional full-day excursion to two small Bohemian Czech cities: Budweis and Cesky Krumlov. Alternatively you can go on a morning walking tour of Passau’s Old Town area.
Budweis was for a time the royal brewery for the Holy Roman Emperor, and beer remains a major industry there. Founded at about the same time as Budweis, Ceský Krumlov is known for its castle, and is an important cultural center, hosting various festivals throughout the year.
On the morning walking tour you get to visit the Old Town area and pass by the Veste Oberhaus. This is a 13th-century fortress that served as a bishop’s stronghold for several centuries. Enjoy a concert on Europe’s largest pipe organ in St. Stephan’s Cathedral before returning to the ship for dinner.
Today travel on an excursion to the legendary Austrian city of Salzburg. Enjoy the views as you journey through the scenic Austrian countryside to Salzburg’s Old Town area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take a walking tour featuring the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Hohensalzburg Fortress just above the city center.
You have free time in the afternoon to explore the cobbled streets and colourful buildings of Salzburg before returning to the ship for dinner and a late evening departure.
This morning you visit Melk and in particular the 900-year-old abbey which is a Benedictine monastery, originally one of Leopold II’s castles. See its spectacular wall and ceiling frescoes, note the library’s comprehensive collection of medieval manuscripts, and admire the graceful spiral staircase.
After lunch aboard, you stop at the picturesque Wachau Valley town of Dürnstein, where you can explore on your own, sample some local vintages from this famous wine-producing region, or join an optional walking tour of the town’s highlights.
Enjoy dinner on the ship as you depart towards Vienna.
Today you are given a tour of the Austrian capital, Vienna. See some of the city’s baroque architecture, including St. Stephan’s Cathedral and Hofburg Palace before you return to the ship for lunch.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to discover arguably Europe's most classical city.
Try and fit in a visit to The Wiener Staatoper (Vienna State Opera). This State Opera is famed all around the world thanks to the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and their opera performances. The festive building itself was built 1869 in an Italian Renaissance style. After dinner on the ship, relax or enjoy an optional classical concert.
You arrive in Bratislava in the morning and are given a walking tour of this charming city.
On the tour you get to see attractions such as the medieval Town Hall complex and fortifications at Michael’s Tower, baroque Trinity Church and Gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral. You pass by several Habsburg-era baroque palaces before returning to the ship for lunch and departure.
Relax and enjoy the views as you sail along the Danube before you arrive in Budapest late in the evening.
After you have had breakfast onboard the ship you visit the highlights of both the older 'Buda' and more cosmopolitan 'Pest' sides of the city.
The tour starts with Pest’s National Opera House and historic Heroes’ Square. In Buda, walk along Fishermen’s Hill to Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church.
Enjoy lunch aboard and the rest of the day is yours to explore both sides of the city. After a busy day sightseeing, return to the ship for a traditional Hungarian farewell dinner.
After breakfast, disembark and be transferred to the airport where you fly with British Airways in Euro Traveller Class from Budapest to London.

There is a lot to see and do in this famous Rhineland city. Cologne Cathedral dominates the skyline and is a good place to start your exploration as it's right outside the station! Admire the imposing Gothic architecture of this huge monument and climb up the South tower for spectacular views. Visit the Old Town for some retail therapy and a glass of local beer, Kolsch. And don't miss a trip to the Chocolate Museum along the Rhine.
Passau is located in a beautiful setting at the junction of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz Rivers. Enjoy a walk around the old town and explore the narrow pedestrian streets. Passau was an important medieval trade and shipping centre which now has a lively and cosmopolitan feel about it.
Salzburg is a beautiful city close to the Austrian Alps, famous for its huge medieval castle, its UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town and its associations with Mozart, who was born here. Stroll along the banks of the Salzach River, get great views from the walls of the Festung Hohensalzburg, visit Mozart’s birthplace(now a museum dedicated to his life and work) or, if it’s your thing, enjoy a full tour of all the sights featured in the famous musical,The Sound of Music.
The elegant city of Vienna is a haven for art lovers, with fabulous galleries ranging from the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the unique collection of Klimt works at the Belvedere Palace to temporary exhibitions at the Kunsthaus, designed by architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Music buffs will also be in their element with a huge choice of classical concerts featuring local heroes such as Johann Strauss, Mozart and Schubert. Don’t miss a slice of Sacher torte accompanied by a traditional Viennese coffee at the Sacher Hotel.
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and is also the country's largest city. The castle dominates over the city of Bratislava on a hill overlooking the river Danube. During your stay in Bratislava it is also worth visiting the Primatial Palace, St. Martin's Dome and Michael's Gate.
Hungary’s historic capital, Budapest has a huge amount to offer, from grand architecture to world-class museums. There are also over a dozen thermal spas to choose from, of which the Széchenyi Baths are the oldest, largest and grandest. Visit the Hungarian Parliament, one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings containing Hungary’s crown jewels or climb Gellért Hill for fabulous views of the majestic Buda Castle and Széchenyi Chain Bridge.
The Ship
This spacious deluxe ship can accommodate 150 guests. The ships can sail on a variety of rivers and they are ideal for longer itineraries such as this. The ship has a sun deck with a swimming pool and 360 degree views so that you can enjoy the scenery as you sail along the Danube River. The ship also has a restaurant, bar, library, sauna & whirlpool.
Food & Drink
The chefs freshly prepare the food for you. For breakfast choose from a selection of pastries, cereals, breakfast meats, fresh fruit and selected cheeses. Alternatively you can have a hot dish prepared to order. For lunch, you can select from the soup and sandwich bar, or a choice of entrées and dessert. For dinner enjoy a 5-course gourmet menu with regional specialities. There is also a choice of regional wines to complement your meal.
Category E Staterooms
Category E Staterooms are 120 sq ft in size and are all located on the main deck of the ship. They have one standard-size single bed and one sofa bed. These staterooms have a half high window that cannot be opened. They have a private bathroom with shower and they also have a telephone, in-room safe & hair dryer. Each stateroom has air-conditioning, space under beds for storing suitcases, a wardrobe and TV with CNN, BBC and other English channels.
Category D Staterooms
Category D Staterooms are 154 sq ft in size and are all located on the main deck of the ship. They have hotel style beds and a large panoramic window that cannot be opened. They have a private bathroom with shower and they also have a telephone, in-room safe & hair dryer. Each stateroom has air-conditioning, space under beds for storing suitcases, a wardrobe and TV with CNN, BBC and other English channels.

The Marriott Cologne Hotel is a new and modern hotel. The hotel has 365 comfortable, stylish and contemporary bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The Brasserie Fou offers French and international cuisine in a convivial setting whilst the Pleusch bar and lounge is a great place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel is in the centre of Cologne, close to Cologne's train station, the Cathedral and the main shopping area.
