Itinerary - 6 Night Holiday by Rail
Day 1
London to Brussels
Travel on Eurostar from London to Brussels, which takes around 1 hour 50 minutes. On arrival check-in at the Hilton Brussels City for a 2 night stay.
Spend the rest of the day exploring Brussels. Relax in one of the cafés which line the city's avenues and squares or stroll around one of the many museums. Brussels is also the perfect place for shopping; from designer boutiques to fashion and craft shops, Brussels has it all!
After a busy day of wandering around this historic city, enjoy a meal in one of the superb restaurants the city has to offer.
Day 2
Brussels
Spend a second day further exploring this historic city famed for its beer and chocolate! Why not visit the famous Magritte Museum to view over 200 original paintings, drawings and sculptures of the surrealist artist René Magritte.
Day 3
Brussels to Antwerp
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before travelling by train from Brussels to Antwerp. On arrival in Antwerp check-in at the Lindner Hotel & City Lounge Antwerp for a 2 night stay
Spend the rest of the day in Antwerp. You may choose to visit the Cathedral of Our Lady with its three monumental altarpieces. Marvel at the 16th and 17th century architecture as you stroll around the world's diamond centre!
It is also worth visiting Antwerp Zoo, which is one of the city’s major attractions and is home to nearly 6,000 animals.
There is an abundance of restaurants and bars to relax in after a busy day sightseeing.
Day 4
Antwerp
Spend a second day in Antwerp exploring the cobbled streets, historical heritage, excellent restaurants and bars, diamonds, and chic shopping districts of this Flemish City.
Day 5
Antwerp to Amsterdam
After breakfast in the hotel, take the short walk to Antwerp central station before taking the train from Antwerp to Amsterdam. On arrival in Amsterdam check-in at the Vondel Hotel Amsterdam for a 2 night stay. You then have 2 days to explore this cosmopolitan city.
Sit and watch the world go by from a café, visit the world famous Anne Frank Museum or stroll through the picturesque flower markets. You may also choose to take a boat tour along some of Amsterdam's famous canals.
Amsterdam has a great nightlife and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to visit during your time here.
Day 6
Amsterdam
Spend a second day in Amsterdam. Hiring a bike is a great way to get around Amsterdam. There are dedicated bike paths throughout the city and bikes are available to hire from around €8 per day.
Amsterdam is the biggest shopping centre in the Netherlands with over ten thousand shops, markets and boutiques so there are plenty of opportunities to do some shopping during your stay! There are also many museums that you can visit including the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank museum and Van Gogh museum.
Day 7
Amsterdam to London
After breakfast in the hotel, spend the rest of the afternoon in Amsterdam before travelling by train back to London via Brussels.

The capital of Belgium and of the European Union, Brussels has two official languages (French and Flemish) and a huge array of attractions. Visit one of the temporary exhibitions in the globes of the futuristic Atomium, browse the designer boutiques along the Avenue Louise or the Antiques Markets around the Place du Petit Sablon, and don’t miss a visit to the stunning medieval Grand Place where you can sample some famous Belgian beer.

Antwerp is the second largest city in Belgium, and is known for its excellent nightlife, fabulous architecture, and as the world's diamond centre. Traditionally a destination for couples choosing a wedding ring, there’s also a lot to see here including one of the oldest zoos in Europe, an imposing Cathedral, a couple of great museums and the fourth largest harbours in the world, on the River Scheldt.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam is a multifaceted city, with something for every traveller’s taste. It’s packed with culture, history and architecture and boasts one of the largest historic centres in Europe. Amsterdam has around seven thousand registered historic buildings and an impressive collection of museums. These include the Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, offering a large collection of paintings from the Dutch Golden Age. Don’t miss a boat ride along the city’s historic canals.
