Itinerary - 4 Night Holiday by Rail
Days 1 and 2
Brussels
Travel by Eurostar from London to Brussels in only 1 hour 50 minutes. On arrival check-in at the Leopold Hotel Brussels for a 2 night stay.
Spend the next two days exploring all that Brussels has to offer. Relax in one of the cafés which line the city's avenues and squares or stroll around one of the many museums. Brussels is also the perfect place for shopping; from designer boutiques to fashion and craft shops, Brussels has it all!
After a busy day of wandering around this historic city, enjoy a meal in one of the superb restaurants Brussels has to offer.
Days 3 and 4
Luxembourg
Spend the morning in Brussels before travelling by train from Brussels to Luxembourg, which takes approximately 3 hours. On arrival check-in at the Grand Hotel Mercure Alfa Luxembourg for a 2 night stay.
Spend the next two days discovering Luxembourg at leisure. Luxembourg the country is the last remaining Grand Duchy in the world with four official languages (including Luxembourgish) among its population of half a million people. Luxembourg City, perched on a hill above the Pétrusse and Alzette rivers is a lovely place to explore for a couple of days.
Enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafés around the Place d'Armes square, explore the cobbled streets and historical buildings of the old town area or visit the 17th century Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Day 5
Luxembourg to London
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before taking the train from Luxembourg to Brussels. Once in Brussels connect onto the Eurostar and relax as you travel back to London.

Brussels
The capital of Belgium and of the European Union, Brussels has two official languages (French and Flemish) and a huge array of attractions. Visit one of the temporary exhibitions in the globes of the futuristic Atomium, browse the designer boutiques along the Avenue Louise or the Antiques Markets around the Place du Petit Sablon, and don’t miss a visit to the stunning medieval Grand Place where you can sample some famous Belgian beer.
Luxembourg City
The cosmopolitan capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Luxembourg City is perched high on top of a rocky hill, overlooking the Rivers Pétrusse and Alzette. The city was once a Habsburg fortress and parts of the original walls and fortifications remain. Areas of the Old Town are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander around the picturesque streets of the Grund, in the lower town or visit the Casemates Bock, a network of 18th century underground fortifications.
