Berlin is a fascinating city full of history, culture, fabulous buildings and museums, along with a wide range of excellent restaurants and a strong tradition in the performing arts. There is no better place to start than the Berlin Wall; symbolising the division between capitalist West and communist East, sections of the Wall can be visited at several locations. Hungary’s historic capital, Budapest has a huge amount to offer, from grand architecture to world-class museums. There are also over a dozen thermal spas to choose from, of which the Széchenyi Baths are the oldest, largest and grandest. Visit the Hungarian Parliament, one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings containing Hungary’s crown jewels or climb Gellért Hill for fabulous views of the majestic Buda Castle and Széchenyi Chain Bridge.
