Autumn Dippemess in Frankfurt

Frankfurt's Autumn Dippemess is a huge annual Folk Festival, and this year it takes place at the Ratsweg, 10-20 September 2010.
The festival dates back to the 14th century when it was a pot festival (dippe being the local word for pot). The market now offers local crafts and food and drink specialities. The fairground includes rides, attractions and entertainment for all the family, and the highlight of the festival is the fireworks at the start and end of the fair.
