Jungfraujoch
If you still love the sight of snow then Jungfraujoch is the place for you with its year round Ice Palace. It also claims the title of the highest railway station in Europe at a height of 11,333 feet.
Heimwehfluh
Complete with a model railway, toboggan run and bob run the Heimwehfluh vantage point is 680 metres above sea level and can be reached by the Heimwehfluh-Bahn or the funicular. The observation tower provides amazing views of the Bernese Oberland.
Jungfrau Region Museum of Tourism
For an insight into the history of travel and tourism in the Jungfrau Region over the last 200 years visit the Jungfrau Region Museum of Tourism. The exhibition covers a broad range of subjects such as local crafts, folklore and fashion and can be found in Unterseen, a short walk from Interlaken.
Höhematte
Known as the centrepiece of Höheweg avenue, this 700 metre long avenue traverses Interlaken from the East to the West train station. The open parkland of the Höhematte offers awe-inspiring views of the Jungfrau massif.
The St. Beatus Caves
Millions of years old, the St Beatus Caves span 1 km within the Niederhorn massif and are illuminated so you can see the stalactites, waterfalls and gorges in all their glory.
The former Augustine Monastery and Castle
Once home to over 300 nuns this wonderful building dates as far back as the 1100s when it owned much of the surrounding land. Since that time the Monastery has seen many changes and was finally abolished in 1528 when it was turned into a castle. Still going strong it is currently home to government officials amongst others.

Dating back to 1859 the Casino Kursaal with its beautiful garden is very much a social hub serving as a venue for concerts and theatre productions as well as a Casino.
