The Bauer Palladio Hotel & Spa is a boutique hotel with 38 bedrooms and 12 suites. The building was designed in early 16th century by Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The hotel has a private garden, a luxury spa and views over the Lagoon. The hotel is in a quiet setting on Giudecca Island, across the Lagoon from St Mark's Square (a short trip on the hotel's water taxi).

Orient-Express to Venice
The Orient-Express train departs from London Victoria late morning. Lunch is served as you travel through English countryside, and dinner as you travel through French countryside to Paris. At Paris there is a brief stop before you continue your journey overnight. The next day the Orient-Express takes you through stunning Swiss Alpine scenery before arriving in Venice late afternoon.
Venice to London
From Venice take the overnight train arriving the following morning in Paris. Day trains are also available (supplements may apply). From Paris take the Eurostar from Paris Gare du Nord to London or Ashford International (takes approximately 2 hours 40 minutes). Board the splendid Wagons-Lits carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express at Venice Santa Lucia station. Your steward will show you to your private compartment, before you enjoy a three-course lunch as you gaze at the beautiful passing scenery of the Italian Dolomites and the Swiss Alps. Afternoon tea is served in your compartment. A four-course dinner is served in the evening.
The next morning breakfast is served in your compartment before train pulls into Paris Gare de lEst and halts for 40 minutes, a delicious brunch is served in the restaurant cars as you travel on towards the French coast for the Channel crossing.
Join the cream and umber carriages of the British Pullman for the journey to London. A traditional English afternoon tea accompanied by a glass of champagne is served to you at your table and you watch the gentle scenery of Kent pass by. Suddenly, you are drawing into London Victoria station.
