A Christmas market was first held in Strasbourg in 1570, making it one of the most historic markets in France. The market is set up around the Cathedral. The picturesque stalls offer Alsace specialities and crafts, mulled wine and decorations. You can't miss the giant Christmas Tree on Place Kleber.
