Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889, and currently stands at over 320 metres high. Take one of the lifts to the top (or brave the stairs to the 2nd level) for fantastic views over the whole of Paris (weather permitting!). The Eiffel Tower is in Paris arrondissement 7, and is open every day 9am-11pm.

Sacre Coeur & Montmartre
Sacre Coeur is on top of Montmartre, the highest hill in Paris. Wander through the historic cobbled streets, watch the artists at work in place du Tertre, or just enjoy the view across Paris. Montmartre and Sacre Coeur are in the north of Paris in arrondissement 18.

Louvre
The Louvre Museum is home to an enormous and world famous art collection, including paintings, sculptures, antiquities, furniture, tapestries, and jewellery. Highlights include the Mona Lisa, Venus of Milo and Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People. The Louvre building itself was originally a Royal Palace, and the glass pyramids were added in 1989.

Notre Dame and Ile de la Cité
The Notre Dame Cathedral on the Ile de la Cité is a Gothic masterpiece built between 1163 and 1345. Pont Neuf offers access from either Bank of the Seine to the west tip of the Ile de la Cité. You can take a tour of the North and South Towers for close up views of the Gargoyles, Bells, and views across Paris.

Arc de Triomphe
Arc de Triomphe is at the west end of the Champs-Elysées, completed in 1836 as a tribute to Napoleon's military victories. There is a small history museum inside the arch, and views from the top of the Arc de Triomphe along the 12 Parisian avenues which radiate from the Arc de Triomphe.

Moulin Rouge
Moulin Rouge was made famous by Toulouse-Lautrec's depictions of the dancing girls, and the show goes on with over 100 hundred artists including 60 Doriss Girls performing the cancan nightly!

River Seine
Take a cruise down the River Seine for a riverside view of Paris, onboard the Bateaux Parisiens luxury glass covered boats. All River Seine cruises start and end at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

Versailles
The Palace of Versailles was the home of French Royal Court under Louis XIV until the French Revolution in 1789. Explore the 73 metre long Hall of Mirrors, Marie Antoinette's apartments, the extensive grounds and model village, and the Trianon. Versailles is only 30 minutes from Paris on the high speed RER.

Musée d'Orsay
Musée d'Orsay is based in the old Orsay railway station, and is home to Western art from 1848 to 1914. Highlights of the collection include works by Rodin, Degas, van Gogh, Cezanne, Renoir and Monet. Musée d'Orsay is in Paris arrondissement 7.

Musée du quai Branly
This remarkable building designed by the architect Jean Nouvel, has a fascinating exterior, with bold-coloured blocks jutting out from the wall. The interior is equally fascinating as the museum pays tribute to Non-Western art with a broad range of exhibits from Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas.
