Flanders World War I Battlefields Tour

Discover the "Ypres' Salient" and the World War I battlefields on this fascinating tour by minibus. The tour takes you to all of the main battlefields, cemeteries and sights. Chose from a morning or afternoon tour, or book a full day tour to fully explore the history of Ypres and the Flanders battlefields.

Morning Tour
10am-2pm
The tour includes:

  • First Aid Dressing station at Essex Farm where "In Flanders Fields" was written by John McCrae
  • The German cemetery at Langemark
  • Village of Passchendaele
  • Tyne Cot Cemetery
  • Sanctuary Wood museum and trenches
  • ANZAC and Canadian sites
Afternoon Tour
2.30pm-5pm
The tour includes:
  • Visit to Hill 60
  • Bayernwald trench complex
  • Bedford House Commonwealth cemetery
  • ANZAC and Canadian sites

Finish off your day at the moving "Last Post" (free) ceremony which takes place under Menin Gate at 8pm every evening. Flanders Battlefields Tours can only be booked with a Railbookers short break package.
