Africa Museum

Collection including decorative arts, historical, zoological, geological and mineral displays. Plus Henry Morton Stanley's archives. Housed in historic house, with landscaped gardens.
Brussels Palace
Closed Mondays, and 1 Jan, 16 April, 1 May, 25 Dec.
The Palace was originally built between the 11th and 12th centuries. Visit the underground remains of the Ceremonial room and the Chapel.
Architecture Museum
Closed Mondays and January and February
Collection of plans, scale models, photographs and themed exhibitions all housed in a former masonic lodge.
Museum of Ancient Art

Centre for Fine Arts

Fine arts centre set in a Victor Horta designed building.
Charlier Museum
Closed on Saturday to Monday and public holidays, and 25 Dec to 17 Jan. Closed until February 2007 for building works
Sculptor Guillaume Charlier's collection of paintings and objets d'art, set in a 19th-century mansion with interior decoration by Victor Horta.

Maison du Roi - Museum of the City of Brussels

Museum of the National Bank of Belgium
Closed on Mondays, 1 Jan, 1 May, 1 and 11 Nov and from 23 Dec to 1 Jan.
Housed in the National Bank of Belgium the museum follows the history of money, and the history of the Bank.
Museum of the Royal Toone Theatre
Closed on Sundays and Mondays and in January.
The Royal Toone Theatre is a puppet theatre set in a hosue which dates back to 1696. The theatre is also a puppet museum.
