Quadriennale in Dusseldorf
10th July 2006
Dusseldorf brings art to life in this celebration of everything from paintings and architecture to music and media.
The city of Dusseldorf is the ideal place for such a magnificent and wide-ranging event, with its beautiful modern buildings dominating the skyline and reminding visitors of its rich history as a place for innovation and design.
Running until October 2006, Quadriennale is a marathon exhibition consisting of single and group events taking place in museums around the city.
Famous names such as Francis Bacon and Caravaggio are sure to make the event a popular attraction among classic art fans, but the festival is also putting on a variety of displays by other artists.
Renowned professors from the world famous Kunstakademie Dusseldorf will also be putting on their own exhibitions as part of the event.
It is clear that art lovers should therefore make a short break in Dusseldorf a priority during the last few months of the Quadriennale event, before it finishes in October.
