Lifestyle Fair in Bordeaux

The ConforExpo, or Lifestyle Fair, is held from November 3rd to 12th at Bordeaux's Parc des Expositions. Visitors can be pampered in the 'Desires and Passions' section of the expo, which features everything from bracelets to boats. Haute-Couture and Pret-à-porter collections are high on the agenda and the event is a wonderful chance to see some of the latest designs in the fashion world.

However, this is only one dimension of the event, which also has a sports salon and an interior decorating fair. Workshops and landscape design are important aspects of the interior decorating programme of events and this provides a wonderful opportunity to pick up ideas on how to improve your property.

Meanwhile, the sports salon concentrates on a property's outdoor space and has seen some innovative stalls down the years. For example, at one fair a swimming pool was installed in the exhibition hall to demonstrate canoeing, rowing and diving to visitors.

The main part of this event, however, centres on the fashion side of things and there are regular catwalk shows featuring a wide selection of designer labels, including Vivienne Westwood, Lolita Lempicka and Jean-Louis Scherrer.

The Lifestyle Fair provides something for everyone and this makes it an ideal way to spend a day or more in Bordeaux when on a short break.
