We arrived at London Victoria Station amongst the commuter throng in plenty of time to check in our bags at the Orient Express desk next to Platform 2. The waiting room is very small so as we were early, we opted for the Starbucks next door.

A Family Christmas Holiday in Rome & Sorrento

Our BA flight arrived into Rome Fiumicino airport after a slight delay, to be met by our prearranged transfer. It was well worth the extra cost in order to avoid the chaos of trying to find a taxi.

London to Dublin and Cork

An early start from Manningtree to Liverpool Street, then across to Euston with time to spare for a quick breakfast before catching the 9.10 Virgin train to Holyhead. I was advised to sit on the right side of the train for the best views of the Welsh coast line.

Hotel of the Week – Das Triest, Vienna

A Family City Break to Paris
