Streamline your trip to Paris with a transfer to your hotel

With a day spent on the Golden Pass from Montreux to Zweisimmen and back again, any train route was going to have a tough job comparing. And while the journey from Lausanne to Paris isn’t filled with the same quaint Alpine villages and rolling scenery, there is plenty of beautiful lush green countryside to watch as you pass through Switzerland and France.

A Brief Tour of Paris

On 24th August my colleague Carly & I took the Eurostar standard class from London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord. We stayed at the Mercure Terminus Nord hotel which couldn’t have been easier to find because it is directly opposite the Eurostar terminal. While looking over a train station may not seem like the ideal view, Gare du Nord is a large and impressive building, the exterior of which has only recently been cleaned from top to bottom.
