This is a great hotel for winter. It’s at the quiet end of Interlaken just near the Ost station, so easy to get up to the ski resorts or on to the various scenic railways. Each day you will come back to a warm welcome and the cosy bar. I couldn’t help relaxing and unwinding with an aperitif or two! Afterwards I thoroughly recommend the restaurant – the food is international and is the best I found in Interlaken.

Rooms at the front have great views up to the Jungfrau mountain, although the rooms are a little narrow and old fashioned they are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. For me the hotel is all about the small touches and personal service. Staff seem to know who you are and a voucher for a welcome glass of something fizzy in the bar is always well appreciated! The pool and spa are a great way to relax if you have been out walking or skiing. Not only do they have rooms with a view but the pool does too. The Swiss staff here offer service with a smile.
