Press Release: Summer cool
Tuesday 29th July 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Want to stay cool this summer whilst making the most of the Mediterranean sun? Our advice mix water with culture with a summer break to stunning Venice! Prices start from £639 for 5 nights.
Enjoy sweet music as your gondolier serenades you along the Grand Canal, past the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs before heading for a refreshing Bellini in Harry’s Bar.
Alternatively get closer to the water and retreat to the tranquil beaches of Venice’s Lido for a cooling dip in the Adriatic or Venice lagoon.
If you do want to spend a bit of time on dry land escape the midday sun with a tour of Venice’s churches and surround yourself with renaissance, baroque and gothic architecture and exquisite paintings by Venetian masters.
Visit Venice with Railbookers and stay at the historic 4* Saturnia & International Hotel from £639 for 5 with the 5th night free, including breakfast and return train travel.
