Press Release: Rail Love

Thursday 9th August 2007

Your wedding is one of the most important events in your life, you want it to exceed your expectations and the same applies to your honeymoon. Railbookers can tailor-make your honeymoon for you to ensure you have the perfect conclusion to your special day.

Whether you want to stay in one destination or combine a variety of destinations Railbookers can recommend the most romantic hotels in some of Europe’s most passionate cities.

It doesn’t come much more romantic than the city of love itself; Paris. Take a romantic river cruise down the Seine, have a portrait painted by the artists in Montmartre, and pretend you are king and queen for the day in the exquisite gardens of the Palace of Versailles. Treat yourself to a stay at the luxury Plaza Athénée Hotel from £509 for 2 nights, including breakfast and return Eurostar travel. The only problem is you may not want to leave your room!

Visit magical Venice and take a romantic gondola ride, reminisce on your wedding reception as you admire Tintoretto’s “Marriage at Cana” in the Santa Maria della Salute Church, or share a coffee in St Mark’s Square. Stay at the elegant 5* Bauer Hotel Venice from £509 for 2 nights with breakfast and return train travel.

From the Venice of the South to the Venice of the North, spend your honeymoon in beautiful Bruges and you won’t need chocolate as an aphrodisiac. Relax in the tranquil surroundings of The Minnewater, also known as the Lake of Love, admire the art of diamond polishing in the Diamond Museum and gaze into each others eyes over a romantic meal in one of the restaurants surrounding the historic Markt square. Luxuriate in the charming environs of the 4* Hotel de Orangerie from £239 for 2 nights with breakfast and return train travel.
