As next year marks the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the London’s V&A museum opens its “Cold War Modern Design” exhibition Railbookers explores Ostalgie in Berlin. Short breaks from £379 per person.

Eurostar trains run from London St Pancras International or Ebbsfleet International to Brussels Gare du Midi (Zuid Station). Eurostar runs from London St Pancras International to Brussels in approximately 1 hour 51 minutes. Change at Brussels Gare du Midi for a Thalys train through to Cologne. The journey time is approximately 2 hours 20 minutes. The ICE train departs from Cologne direct to Berlin every hour and the journey takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.
