Davos Inclusive Card launched
24th August 2007
Visitors to Davos have been afforded even more freedom to explore the city and its many treasures with the launch of the Davos Inclusive Card.
The card is available to anyone staying in commercially-rented accommodation in Davos for at least one night and offers a wealth of opportunities for those coming to this beautiful Swiss city.
Offered by the tourist board of Davos, the card allows visitors to enjoy many of the Alpine city's features at a discount or for free. For example, rail travellers can witness the beauty of Alpine gardens and the Praettigau region from a carriage on the Glacier Express, for 20 per cent less than the normal ticket price.
Also on a rail theme, holders of the Davos Inclusive Card are able to travel on the Rhaetian Railway free of charge. From Davos, carriages will transport passengers across the mountains to the village of Klosters, where the lush greenery is perfect for walks and biking.
For shorter journeys and for weary legs, Davos offers a comprehensive bus service which too is free of charge to card holders. The ice-rink and access to the Schatzalp Alpine Botanical Gardens are two of the free attractions available on disembarking.
There are also various discounts available on paragliding, golfing, donkey trekking and theatre performances, among others.
So, make the most of your Alpine break with a trip to Davos.
