Eurostar's Search
29th October 2007
On 14 November 1994 after eight years of construction the maiden voyage of Eurostar took place, taking the first passengers from Waterloo International to the Continent. Of course a photographer was on hand to mark this momentous occasion.
Unfortunately several years ago Eurostar lost its archives due to flooding, including the official photographs of passengers taken on that day. Now on the dawn of a new horizon for Eurostar as it prepares to move to its new home, St Pancras International, the search is on for the original lucky passengers who travelled on that day.
Are you one of the missing passengers? If you are Railbookers would love to hear about your experiences or any photos you have of the day. Please email Railbookers at info@railbookers.com
